OHIO Hockey to Air on ESPN Networks, OHIO vs. Jamestown 10/21

The American Collegiate Hockey Association in partnership with GoLive Sports Cast, will broadcast its Men’s Division 1 Game of the Week on ESPN3 during the 2016-17 season, announced today by the ACHA Men’s Division 1 Vice President, Bill Shannon.
All games will be carried live on select Friday nights throughout the season and culminate with the 2017 Men’s Division 1 National Championships in Columbus, OH. The schedule begins on Friday, October 14th, with defending champion Lindenwood University traveling to Ames, IA to take on the currently #1 ranked Iowa State University. Succeeding games in October include the University of Jamestown at Ohio University on October 21st and Niagara University at the University at Buffalo on October 28th. All broadcasts will begin at 7:00 P.M. EST.
Future games in November, December, January and February will be announced at a later date and will be based on matchups, rankings, and rivalries.

Also, a huge thank you to Brian Moran and the ACHA coaches for responding to our request for schedule changes to accommodate the starting time requirement of 7:00 P.M EST on Friday nights. This is a giant step forward for the ACHA.”
The games will be produced by GoLive Sports Cast, the company that produced the 2016 Men’s Division 1 National Tournament to strong reviews and record viewership numbers. Game streams may be found anytime and anywhere at WatchESPN (http://www.espn.com/watchespn/) or on the WatchESPN app for your mobile or tablet device. There will be no fee to watch. Local availability of games shall be determined by cable providers.
