Offensive outburst pushes Bobcats streak to 5
If anyone thought the Bobcats were going to have trouble waking up for their morning game against Dayton, it would only take 14 minutes for them to be proven wrong. The Bobcats scored 5 times in the first 15, 6 total in the first, and were able to up their winning streak to 5 after dispatching of University of Dayton 9-6 this past weekend.
The Bobcats would receive strong offensive outputs from a number of players in this one. Anthony Finney recorded a hat trick (3 goals), and Jarrod Carley, Robert Morris, and KC Fraize each added 2 goals to their season totals in the win. Nick Frasse and Dan Sayer would also add two assists each, and Zaid Alzaid made some critical saves in the third as Dayton made an effort to come back.
The Bobcats will return to the ice this weekend when they return to Kettering Ice Arena on Friday, this time taking on Wright State. Then they will receive a visit from a Dayton team looking to avenge thier recent loss to the Bobcats on Saturday at Bird Arena. Friday's game time is at 9:40 pm, and Saturday's game will be played at 4 pm. All Division 2 home games are free admission. However, donations to the team are always welcome.
