Ohio Loses to Adrian
Submitted By Bryan Levin on Friday, February 26, 2010
Ohio just misses out on opportunities, losing 5-3.

The Bobcats never held the lead during their Friday night game against the Adrian Bulldogs.

Adrian got on the board just 21 seconds into the game when Kyle Peterson scored to make it 1-0. Alex Norman assisted.

The Bulldogs made it 2-0 when Spencer Bonomo recieved a pass from Des Cowan. Ohio goalie Paul Marshall was pulled in favor of Patrick Morse.

Nearing the end of the period, Ohio got on the score sheet when Billy Hemann scored his 8th goal of the season. Zach Tisdale added the assist.

Ohio tied the game early in the second period as Tisdale beat Jason Spada. Assist went to Brett Molnar.

Four minutes later, the Bulldogs went up 3-2 when Kevin Sundae scored on the powerplay.

It became a 4-2 lead for Adrian less than two minutes later when Tom Ciaverilla scored unassisted.

The Bobcats closed the deficit to one goal when Molnar beat Spada. Assists to Nick Rostek and Mark Tracy.

But Adrian tallied the final goal and won 5-3 when Bonomo scored his second goal of the game. Norman and Sundae assisted.

Make sure to check out Bird Arena Saturday night as Ohio hockey will honor the seniors on the team.

Puck drops at 7:30 p.m. If you can't make it to the game ohiobobcatshockey.com will have the call.
