Marshall Saves The Day
Goaltender stops all 37 shots faced in 1-0 victory over #5 Iowa State.
The bad weather didn't stop Paul Marshall from showing up to tonight's contest versus Iowa State.
The player who Coach Dan Morris called perhaps the best player in the ACHA earned his fifth shutout of the season against an Iowa State team who scored 15 goals in last week's series.
On offense, Marshall received the help he needed early in the third period when Josh Fodor found Ryan Tessmer for the lone goal of the game.
The goal was Tessmer's sixth point in the last three games.
The assist was Fodor's 17th of the season.
The Bobcats and Cyclones will go back at it Saturday at 7:30 p.m. inside Bird Arena.
